Requirements

• Proven construction site experience with the ability to adapt fabrication techniques to various environments
• Expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, plasma cutting, and specific welding processes
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for precise fabrication
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, forklift trucks, and other manufacturing equipment safely
• Mechanical knowledge of ductwork systems, pipe threading, assembly processes, and schematics interpretation
• Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting heavy materials safely on construction sites or manufacturing floors
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for accurate fabrication work

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and fabrication procedures
• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques with precision and consistency
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape sheet metal, ductwork, pipes, and structural components
• Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment
• Conduct rigging, pipe threading, soldering, machining, and assembly tasks as required for complex fabrication projects
• Follow ASME codes & standards to ensure all welds meet industry safety and quality regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during welding, cutting, grinding, and material handling activities
