The Finance & Insurance Manager's primary responsibility is to manage the financial transaction of the vehicle buying experience for each customer of the dealership. This role involves working with lenders to obtain approvals for car purchases, producing financial paperwork, and consulting the sales team on DMV laws. The F&I Manager will work directly with the sales team and customers to assist in the financial buying process, build rapport to generate referrals, and consult on and sell finance & insurance warranties. Key duties include producing and submitting accurate paperwork for title work and funding, achieving monthly objectives, meeting deadlines for paperwork submission, and handling customer money securely. The role also requires adherence to all local and national regulations, advising the sales team on relevant state laws, and partnering with service advisors to assist customers with extended warranties. Maintaining strong customer relationships, an impeccable reputation with lenders and vendors, and delivering effective finance and insurance menu presentations are crucial.
