Threat Tec, a leader in operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a talented Experimentation Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role will focus on planning, designing, and executing experimentation efforts that enhance Special Operations Forces (SOF) capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Employ experimentation tools to support industry-standard and trade space studies evaluating warfighter capabilities, solution designs, program recommendations, and overall performance.
  • Support the development, coordination, planning, and execution of EXFOR experimentation efforts, including modeling, simulations, tabletop exercises, war games, red team analysis, prototyping, and demonstrations.
  • Assess the utility and application of commercially or government-owned analytical toolsets.
  • Provide expertise on cutting-edge technologies and leverage SOF research and technology developments.
  • Establish and maintain contacts with SOF AT&L, Science & Technology (S&T), DARPA, and other DoD, Joint, Military Service, and SOF Component S&T organizations.
  • Report findings and results from experimentation events, capturing lessons learned and incorporating them into future scenarios and practices.
  • Plan, design, develop, and lead experimentation events, from concept to post-execution review.
  • Create and deliver briefs, progress updates, and scenario implementation documentation.
  • Provide analytical support for senior leader seminars, SOF experiment events, and interoperability workshops/conferences.
  • Conduct defense-related research on emerging technologies and integrate intelligence to develop scenarios and analyses.
  • Attend planning conferences and workshops to discuss event planning, scenario development, and scripting.
  • Support the development of USSOCOM products, including guidance and directives such as SOF Operating Guidance and Force Planning Guidance.
  • Conduct strategic outreach to enhance SOF Experimentation, Force Development, and Design, fostering growth opportunities and new relationships.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare reports, information papers, and presentations using Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Develop and maintain an electronic resource, including key points of contact, to ensure mission continuity accessible to all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution.
  • 3 years of strategic/operational-level experience (military, contract, or civilian) working with DoD Services or Combatant Commands on strategic engagement programs (e.g., wargames, experimentation, conferences).
  • 3 years of experience in planning, concept development, analysis of alternatives, scenario-based development, modeling and simulations, experimentation, and analytical methodologies.
  • 3 years of experience in USSOCOM-assigned organizations as military personnel, Government civilian, or contractor.
  • 3 years of experience planning large-scale events for senior leadership, including research, site surveys, and presenting findings.
  • 3 years of experience conducting defense-related research on emerging technologies and integrating intelligence to develop scenarios and analyses.
  • 3 years of experience creating operational products to capture exercise results and lessons learned.
  • 3 years of experience developing and presenting verbal and written products at the general/flag-level command staff.
  • 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
  • Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
