About the position

The Experienced Security Officer - Special Response Officer role at GardaWorld involves providing security services across various locations in Northern Nevada, including Sparks, Fernley, Minden, and Reno. The position requires flexibility to work any shift and respond to critical situations while ensuring the safety and security of client sites. The officer will be responsible for access control, surveillance, reporting activities, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Observe, survey, and report activities at assigned sites.
• Respond quickly to critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Conduct periodic patrols as needed.
• Learn various sites to enforce client procedures and standards.
• Maintain vehicles and assigned equipment.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age as required by law or contractual requirements.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience or equivalent military/law enforcement experience.
• Valid PILB certification in hand.
• High school diploma or GED, or a college degree that exceeds this requirement.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Willingness to work any shift as needed.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to different job sites.
