About the position
J.S. Helwig is seeking experienced CDL-A Truck Drivers for over-the-road (OTR) positions. Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently over long distances.
- Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Ensure the truck is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Safe driving record that meets company requirements.
- 6 months of verifiable OTR experience in the past three years.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with refrigerated transportation.
- Familiarity with APU and inverter systems in trucks.
