Requirements

2+ years of verified experience working as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) is required.
Active state-required credentials/certifications (including coronal polishing, radiation safety, etc).
Proficiency with digital X-rays and digital scanners.
Strong communication skills.
A warm patient-first demeanor.
A collaborative team-player mindset.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CBCT is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform expanded duties including coronal polishing, applying sealants, placing and finishing fillings, and fabricating temporary crowns & bridges.
Expertly assist dentists during a variety of general, cosmetic, and advanced implant dental procedures.
Comfortably prepare patients for treatment, take digital X-rays/CBCT scans, and provide clear, empathetic post-operative care instructions.
Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment while strictly upholding cleanliness and compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
Manage patient records accurately and assist with scheduling appointments as needed to maintain an efficient daily workflow.
