About the position

The Exercise, Training and Readiness Senior Analyst at ANSER plays a crucial role in supporting the Department of Defense's Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) mission. This position involves providing expert guidance and planning for training, exercises, and defense readiness, specifically within the Strategic Integration Information Resilience Office. The analyst will be responsible for developing and executing complex training events that align with U.S. national military strategy and regional contingency requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise to support the development and execution of intricate and complex CWMD focused training.
  • Develop, plan, and conduct CWMD joint training events aligned with DoD and USG-wide Tier-I exercises.
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses, review issues, lessons learned, and recommend and implement refinements to the training audience.
  • Manage, plan, and execute DTRA's Joint Training Program (JTP) and training exercises.
  • Review and update all CJCS and NATO CWMD related doctrine and associated documents.
  • Provide proposed Training and Exercise Support to manage, plan, and execute DTRA's JTP and training exercises.
  • Plan and conduct classified and unclassified DTRA JTP and Agency's Readiness and Preparedness Program (ARPEP) training events and assessments.
  • Provide technical expertise in managing Joint Training and Information Management System (JTIMS) and Joint Lesson's Learned Information Systems (JLLIS).
  • Provide technical, logistical, operational, training, and associated ancillary support required to develop, perform and execute DTRA's JTP.
  • Participate in DoD JTS related conference/working groups in support of DTRA JTP.
  • Provide support and expertise required to support scenario design and scripting of DTRA supported exercises.
  • Develop Joint education and training materials, support course implementation, and provide course instruction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 or more years relevant experience providing exercise, training and defense readiness services to defense agency programs and directorates
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
