About the position
Sports Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a dynamic individual ready to work as an Exercise Specialist in a fast-paced physical therapy clinic. This position is responsible for daily patient care and takes direction from a physical therapist(s) by performing treatment-related exercise programs and patient-related tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform treatment-related exercise programs as directed by physical therapists.
- Assist with daily patient care tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service interaction with patients, clinicians, and staff.
Requirements
- Interest or a degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology background.
- Prior medical clinic experience preferred.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional professionalism, confidentiality, and patient safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of experience preferred but not required.
