About The Position
IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is seeking an Exercise Specialist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with an undergraduate degree looking to gain clinical experience before applying to PT/OT school or other medical programs. The Exercise Specialist assists patients with exercise plans and modalities, plays a crucial role in patient relationships and experience, and contributes to a dynamic, upbeat work culture. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience in a customer facing position
- Knowledge and ability to demonstrate body mechanics, functional movement, and exercises
- Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations
- Proficiency with technology and computer systems (EMR, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
- Ability to properly transfer patients with use of good body mechanics while maintaining patient safety
- Responsibility for own transportation to and from work site
