About The Position
IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is seeking an Exercise Specialist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with an undergraduate degree looking to gain clinical experience before applying to PT/OT school or other medical programs. The Exercise Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting patients with exercise plans and modalities, establishing and maintaining patient relationships, and enhancing the overall patient experience. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience in a customer-facing position
- Knowledge and ability to demonstrate body mechanics, functional movement, and exercises
- Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations
- Ability to properly transfer patients with use of good body mechanics while maintaining patient safety
- Required to work at an IRG facility and be responsible for your own transportation to and from work site
- Proficiency with technology and computer systems (EMR, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
- Comfortable with cleaning and custodial duties
