About the position
Cedarhurst of Frankfort is seeking a full-time Executive Director to lead its community, focusing on enhancing the lives of residents through effective management and compassionate care. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive environment for both residents and staff. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic planning, profitability, and maintaining high customer satisfaction while embodying servant leadership principles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring high customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
- Provide leadership that embodies servant leadership principles, including effective listening and empathy.
- Hire, orient, supervise, evaluate, and discipline community staff as necessary.
- Offer proactive solutions to problems in alignment with company vision and standards.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Regional Director of Operations.
Requirements
- Two (2+) years of experience as an Executive Director or three (3+) years as an Assistant Executive Director in a senior care community.
- State-required license/certification for operating an Assisted Living/Memory Care community is desired.
- Demonstrated competence in regulatory compliance and staff development.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of sales, cost control, and basic accounting.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Yardi and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends and be on call as needed.
