About The Position
Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a passionate and hands-on Executive Chef 1 to join their dynamic culinary team at the prestigious Mass General Brigham Headquarters in Somerville, MA. Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years minimum management experience
- 1 year minimum functional experience in food or culinary services (restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.)
- Passionate about food and hospitality
- Energetic and hands-on in the kitchen
- Organized with strong operational skills
- A team builder who thrives in a collaborative environment
Nice To Haves
- Experienced in high-volume or corporate dining
Responsibilities
- Support culinary operations across multiple service platforms
- Lead and mentor a team of 7 hourly employees
- Partner with the Executive Chef 3 on scheduling, ordering & inventory management, and catering production
- Ensure excellence in food quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation standards
- Drive consistency and innovation in menu execution
