The Executive Business Officer serves as a senior leader responsible for integrating continuous improvement, quality assurance and compliance programs into the University’s business operations in support of the university’s mission and strategic goals. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Business Officer provides strategic oversight to ensure efficient, ethical, and effective business operations while promoting a culture of accountability, service excellence, and institutional effectiveness. The position also serves as a member of the President’s University Leadership Council. The Executive Business Officer leads and oversees the University’s dining, concessions, catering, food truck, and vending contracts and services; the campus bookstore contract and mail services; parking and transportation services; housing fiscal operations and summer camp administration services; procurement, contracts and supply chain services; university property leases administration, and the event planning office. The position plays a critical role in financial stewardship, risk management, policy development, and data-informed decision-making, working collaboratively with executive leadership to advance student success, operational excellence, and long-term institutional sustainability.
