About The Position

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for the role of Executive Assistant to two Senior Vice Presidents and one Vice President. This role is open to our Boston, MA or Nashville, TN locations. We are looking for a driven and autonomous Executive Assistant to support the two Senior Vice Presidents and one Vice President. The Executive Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment and will support the Leaders on calendar management, travel, expenses and meeting organization.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert ability using Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to maximize work efficiency where applicable
  • Strong organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and a high degree of initiative in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
  • Knows how to leverage resources and delegates effectively

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephone calls, manages travel arrangements, and processes expense reports.
  • Gather, compile, verify, and analyze information for the executive's use in documents such as memos, letters, reports, speeches, presentations, and news releases.
  • Facilitate smooth communications between the executives and coworkers and between the executives and external parties such as media, customers, and the public.
  • Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepare recommendations.
  • Will have access to the email accounts of supported staff to schedule their appointments and answer or redirect inquiries from internal or external sources.
  • Handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
  • May coordinate activities between departments and outside parties especially when working on setting up events such as team meetings or regional conferences.
  • Compiles and analyzes information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary.
  • Advise, support, assist, coordinate, and collaborate on special projects which are highly complex.
  • Must have the ability to be a 'Jack of all trades'. Must be able to juggle many tasks simultaneously. Must be able to plan, prioritize, and manage the multiple tasks that have been assigned to him/her before their deadlines. To save time, he/she will be expected to delegate the responsibility for efficient and time-bound management of activities.
  • Be the point of contact for trouble shooting technology issues from those they support especially during.
  • Makes high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company.
