Executive Assistant, Casting & Development (FX)

About the position

The Executive Assistant for Casting & Development at FX Networks plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the EVP of Casting and SVP of Development. This position requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can manage busy schedules, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The role is integral to fostering strong partnerships within the company and ensuring smooth communication across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the EVP and SVP, including answering phones, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and handling expense reports.
• Track submissions, manage delivery of incoming scripts and cuts, and track shooting schedules.
• Support the department and other executives as needed, including scheduling meetings, updating department records, and researching various assignments.
• Communicate accurate show information to talent agents.
• Coordinate and distribute materials pertaining to projects to other FX and Disney departments, productions, and studio partners.
• Communicate with other departments regarding their needs and ensure they have the materials necessary to fulfill their responsibilities to the network.

Requirements

• 2+ years previous administrative experience required, preferably in an entertainment or media company.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Highly organized and task-oriented, able to manage and disseminate a high volume of information and material punctually and confidentially in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to evaluate material and think analytically in relation to projects.
