About the position

The EVS Director at Servicon is responsible for managing multiple client sites or a single complex client site, ensuring the delivery of high-quality environmental services. This role emphasizes fostering positive client relationships, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of janitorial excellence. The Director supervises and trains staff, conducts quality assurance inspections, and collaborates with the Director of Operations to meet client expectations and improve operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Interact frequently with clients and staff in a professional and responsive manner.
  • Ensure safety protocols are fully implemented and followed within the facilities.
  • Inspect and evaluate all areas serviced by assigned staff for safety and janitorial excellence.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings and provide on-the-spot corrections and retraining on unsafe practices.
  • Supervise, manage, and train janitorial staff to meet client and company expectations.
  • Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with procedures and scope of work.
  • Execute janitorial policies and procedures for sustainable and cost-effective operations.
  • Support the Director of Operations and manage required responsibilities effectively.
  • Produce monthly quality assurance evaluation calendars and account-related reports.
  • Provide effective solutions to assist Project Managers in resolving janitorial and scheduling issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6+) years' relevant managerial experience in Facility Services or a related field.
  • Strong commitment to high-level service and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead a team.
  • Willingness to work a variable work schedule, including day, evening, and night shifts.
  • Efficient computer knowledge, proficiency in utilizing all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a driving record that aligns with company standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with union contracts is preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
