About the position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an EVMS Lead Manager to join our Atlanta, GA team. This role is crucial in managing and overseeing the implementation and execution of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) within the organization. The EVMS Lead Manager will develop processes and procedures for various project portfolios, manage a team of Project Controls Specialists, and ensure compliance with EVMS standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop EVMS process and procedures for Small/Mid/Large Projects Portfolio
  • Design and implement EVMS principles in Power Generation and T&D Projects
  • Manage team of Project Controls Specialists to deploy EVMS standards in Project Management organization
  • Configure and maintain the EVMS, ensuring accurate data mappings and financial imports
  • Ensure compliance with EVMS standards and guidelines
  • Identify reporting needs, embed into standards and guidelines, and coordinate periodic submission of EVMS required reports
  • Responsible for multiple highly complex and sophisticated project controls functions related to Earned Value Management
  • Interface with other groups in support of assigned functions and projects
  • Apply knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures associated with EVMS
  • Work closely with project teams on support functions

Requirements

  • Accredited associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, business administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Several years of experience in program management, cost control, or a related field with a strong background in EVMS
  • Strong cost management, scheduling, and project planning and estimating skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of industry standard software, including SAP, Skire, VersaPro, etc.
  • Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects is preferred
  • AACE membership/certification or RICS qualified is preferred, not required
