About The Position

Nth Degree is seeking 2-3 experienced Speaker Management contractors to support national conferences during the upcoming 2026/2027 event season. This is a 6-8 month contract role, running from September/October through April/May. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience working with conference speakers, content teams, or event operations and is passionate about the events industry and creating seamless experiences for speakers and presenters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned speakers throughout the planning process and onsite experience.
• Support speakers with session preparation, scheduling, deadlines, presentation collection, and logistics coordination.
• Coordinate and track speaker deliverables including bios, headshots, presentations, agreements, and related materials.
• Partner with internal teams including content, registration, housing, AV/production, and client leads to ensure a seamless speaker experience.
• Maintain accurate speaker tracking documents and provide regular status updates on deliverables and outstanding items.
• Develop and manage speaker communications, reminders, and deadline-driven outreach.
• Assist with onsite speaker management including speaker ready rooms, session support, schedule changes, and escalations as needed.
• Help create a polished, high-touch speaker experience from initial outreach through event execution.
