About The Position

We're Hiring: Event Specialist | $25.79/hourly + Amazing Benefits! Location: 1307 S. 900 W. SLC, UT | Type: Full-Time | FLSA: Non-Exempt Are you the kind of person who thrives on turning ideas into memorable experiences? Join our team and help create dynamic events that inspire communities and fuel meaningful change across the Wasatch Front! In this role, you'll be at the heart of our community presence-planning, coordinating, and executing events that support fundraising, outreach, and volunteer engagement. Working alongside the Community Engagement Coordinator, you'll help bring everything from galas to grassroots outreach events to life.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field or 3+ years of event planning experience
• Experience with community outreach and events
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
• Professionalism, accountability, flexibility, and confidentiality are essential.
• Pass required background and health screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Event planning experience (large events like galas are a big plus!)
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Confidence using tools like NetSuite, OneCause, Asana, Bloomerang, or Signup
• A knack for building meaningful partnerships
• Team spirit and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engaging events (think fundraisers, volunteer projects, and community outreach!)
• Coordinate logistics like venues, catering, and IT support
• Build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
• Collaborate across teams to support recruiting and outreach efforts
• Travel to various sites along the Wasatch Front to make it all happen
