About the position

The Evenings and Weekends Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health is responsible for providing accessible mental health care to clients outside of traditional work and school hours. This role emphasizes the importance of authenticity, compassion, and creativity in therapy, aiming to destigmatize mental health and fill gaps in community services. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work both in-person and via telehealth, ensuring that therapists can meet clients where they are.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create, implement, and maintain treatment plans.
• Complete ongoing documentation and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Commit to a minimum caseload of 10 clients per week.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with a dynamic team.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Clinical licensure or on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.
• Experience with completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
• Passion for various therapeutic modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT, and others.
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with BIPOC populations and issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation.
• Familiarity with play therapy, art therapy, musical therapy, and group therapy.
