About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role involves estimating project costs, managing project timelines, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insulation industry, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to accurately estimate material and labor costs.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare accurate and timely bids and proposals.
• Analyze project requirements to identify potential challenges and develop contingency plans.
• Develop and implement detailed project schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure projects meet industry standards.
• Manage project budgets and track expenses.
• Prepare regular project reports and updates for management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and concerns.
• Resolve project issues and disputes in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the insulation industry, preferably in an estimating or project management role.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and building codes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
