The Estimating Coordinator is an in-office role and is responsible for the administrative coordination of the construction bid process and working in partnership with the internal Estimating Team. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills as this role is highly collaborative and requires significant time on the phone speaking with subcontracting companies. Candidates should have an acute attention to detail and a strong ability to relationship-build.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, phone demeanor, and organizational skills required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related Construction field, or relevant work experience
  • Strong proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Construction experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Construction software such as Building Connected, BidMail, iSqFt, PlanHub preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administration and tracking of bids
  • Review plans with Estimators for trade selection and plan breakout; log subcontractors selected by Estimator for each trade
  • Generate bid invitations, contact subcontractors to secure bids, log responses, issue plans and specifications of project
  • Maintain and update bidding database
  • Provide weekly status reports
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
