Equity & Options Trader - Entry Level

About the position

We are seeking an Entry Level Trader to join our team. As an Entry Level Trader, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the financial industry. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about finance and want to start their career in trading.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on financial markets, including stocks, options, bonds, and commodities
• Monitor market trends and identify potential investment opportunities
• Execute trades based on analysis and market conditions
• Collaborate with senior traders to develop trading strategies
• Analyze risk factors and implement risk management techniques
• Stay updated on financial news and events that may impact the market
• Maintain accurate records of trades and transactions

Requirements

• Knowledge of investment analysis techniques and concepts
• Understanding of risk analysis and risk management principles
• Ability to interpret financial statements and reports
• A degree in Finance, Business, or any quantitively relevant field (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science etc). Other degrees may also be considered depending on demonstrable skills and certifications.
• Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze data and perform calculations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• In possession of the CFOA (Certified Futures and Options Analyst) certification, or similar.
• Ideally, some demonstrable experience in the Investment space (a relevant internship would qualify).
