About the position

As Equipment Services Manager - East, you'll lead a high-impact team of technicians, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and performance of our chemical treatment systems. You'll drive field strategy, support innovation, and serve as the go-to expert for complex technical challenges-delivering consistent, high-quality service our customers rely on. This position is part of the Engineering & Equipment Services department in the Eastern US and will be hybrid in Glen Allen, VA. This position will have 25-50% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of the East Region service technicians and project managers with a strategic vision and passion for leading a best-in-class organization
  • Implement and track service schedules, spend, quality, and other metrics of the team working in conjunction with commercial leadership to provide best in class delivery
  • Maintenance and training of knowledge on new equipment to train team members on best practices and expectations
  • Coordination and prioritization cross-company on equipment service needs to appropriately deploy support resources across the entirety of the US business
  • Primary point of contact establishing and alignment across business priorities including but not limited to: new business prioritization, new product introduction, product root cause assessments, supply chain capabilities/needs, commercial fulfillment
  • Lead optimization initiatives that decrease down time and drive efficiencies in the organization
  • Point of escalation for pricing, equipment troubleshooting, and resource allocation
  • Input and guidance on cross-functional projects providing SME experience on field services to help guide complex or novel implementations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in people management - including Performance Management and Associate Development
  • BS Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering, or related field experience with progressive leadership experience
  • 7+ years of industry experience in water treatment and chemical applications
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed, strategic decisions
