Equipment Mechanic/Motor Pool Technician

Responsibilities

• Operation of the 50 and 40 ton cranes (NCCCO Fixed and Mobile Certification required)
• Operation of Marathon construction and maintenance equipment
• Operation of heavy equipment including a Fuel Truck (CDL Certification preferred)
• Maintain the heavy equipment, light equipment and truck fleet
• Operation of snow removal equipment inside the refinery gates

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• A valid driver's license is required
• ASE Medium Heavy Truck Certified (T Series) OR NCCCO Certification is required
• Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and physically perform the job duties
• Must be able to perform job duties in an outdoor process facility under the direction of the Maintenance Department
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed
• Must have the ability to learn and obtain other certifications as Marathon requires
• Required to obtain CDL and Hazmat endorsement within 9 months of starting date if the candidate does not already have the certification
• You must pass ASE G1 certification within 18 months of being hired
