Responsibilities

  • Lead evaluation efforts for the Tobacco Prevention and Control program.
  • Plan and manage tobacco-related evaluation and surveillance activities at local and state levels.
  • Collaborate with staff, grantees, and partners to assess and enhance tobacco prevention initiatives.
  • Apply epidemiologic and evaluation methodologies to improve public health outcomes.
  • Summarize and present data to various audiences.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics/statistics, public health, or a closely related field.
  • Two years of experience in data collection, analysis, and maintenance related to public health.
  • Experience in evaluating public health programs and designing quantitative surveys.

Nice-to-haves

  • PhD in a relevant field may substitute for work experience.
