About the position

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology who wants to work in a collaborative environment? As an experienced Epic Radiant/Cupid Support Specialist, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Project Delivery Model (PDM) is a talent model that is tailored specifically for long-term, onsite client service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the Epic product specific build regarding scheduling and workflows of providers and patients.
  • Enhance the support models to achieve successful enhancements, expansion, and ongoing support.
  • Perform analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Prepare requirement specifications and provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
  • Review and test new releases and document all outcomes of testing.
  • Serve as the support contact for the application.
  • Responsible within all phases of the application implementation including design, build, test, installation, and maintenance of the application.
  • Provide outstanding client service and contribute to the organization's mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.
  • Provide on-site support within the organization as needed.
  • Support/coach/advise the Project IT Team with tasks throughout the implementation cycle - Design/Workflows, System Build, Testing, Upgrades, and Activation.

Requirements

  • Must have a current Cupid/Radiant Epic Certification.
  • 6+ years of recent experience on Epic Support & Maintenance.
  • Open to on call requirements for the role.
  • Experience in application design, workflows, build, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • This role is remote.
  • Limited sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hospital or Clinic operations experience.
  • Additional Epic Certifications.
  • ITIL process knowledge.
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities.
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills.
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations.
