About the position

As an experienced Epic (Patient Access) Cadence/Prelude Builder, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Responsibilities

  • Guide the Epic product specific build regarding scheduling and workflows of providers and patients.
  • Enhance support models to achieve successful enhancements, expansion, and ongoing support.
  • Perform analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Prepare requirement specifications and provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
  • Review and test new releases and document all outcomes of testing.
  • Serve as the support contact for the application.
  • Provide on-site support within the organization as needed.
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers, project team members, and representatives from various functional and/or technical teams.

Requirements

  • Current Epic Cadence/Prelude Certification.
  • 3+ years of recent experience with an implementation.
  • Experience in application build and go-live, along with extensive experience in implementation, workflows, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
  • Demonstrative understanding of technical documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Role is remote.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Work Experience/Direct Knowledge of clinical area or business area to be supported.
  • Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities.
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills.
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations.
