Responsibilities
- Assist in electrophysiology procedures by preparing equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and report any abnormalities to the medical team.
- Maintain and sterilize equipment and instruments used in electrophysiology procedures.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Certification as an Electrophysiology Technician or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in electrophysiology or cardiology.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot electrophysiology equipment.
Nice-to-haves
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
- Experience with specific electrophysiology devices and software.
