About the position

The Environmental Technical Sales Leader/Sr. Project Manager will oversee environmental sales activities and project management for the Southeast Region, specifically North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. This role involves maintaining client relationships, developing sales strategies, and managing environmental projects while ensuring quality assurance and risk management for construction-related services.

Responsibilities

  • Support Environmental Regional Vice President in management and sales activities.
  • Maintain client relationships with local and national clients.
  • Develop and implement Sales and Growth Plans.
  • Review published lead sources for project opportunities.
  • Strategize approaches to capturing identified opportunities and leads.
  • Prepare cost estimates and proposals for testing and inspection projects.
  • Follow up on all submitted proposals in a timely manner.
  • Work with National Client Group to increase environmental sales efforts.
  • Meet with existing clients to discuss satisfaction and potential new opportunities.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to Environmental Leadership teams.
  • Mentor and train staff in field and project management activities.
  • Participate in calls with RVPS to provide suggestions and support problem solving.
  • Review and ensure accuracy in project invoicing.
  • Contact clients with outstanding account receivables regarding payment.
  • Manage Asbestos, Lead Paint, IAQ & Industrial Hygiene Related Services.
  • Manage Environmental Site Assessments - Phase I/II and III.

Requirements

  • Requires a college or technical degree in Environmental related field of study.
  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Must be able to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions.
  • Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment.
  • Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required.
