About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Environmental Services Supervisor. Under the supervision of the Director of Environmental Services or designee, this role trains and supervises personnel in maintaining the Medical Center in a clean and orderly condition. The supervisor is responsible for the Environmental Service personnel in the absence of the Director and/or Assistant Director, and performs general cleaning and allied duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of Supervisory or Charge experience, preferably in Environmental Services and/or Hospital setting.
• Ability to supervise and work harmoniously with people.
• Must be familiar with cleaning materials and housekeeping machinery.
• Possess the ability to learn new housekeeping techniques.

Responsibilities

• Trains and supervises personnel in maintaining the Medical Center in a clean and orderly condition.
• Responsible for the Environmental Service personnel in the absence of the Director and/or Assistant Director.
• Performs general cleaning and allied duties as required or assigned.
