About the position
The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the facility. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas, including resident rooms and common spaces, are kept to high cleanliness standards, contributing to the overall health and safety of the residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Cleans, mops, and sanitizes resident rooms, toilets, and baths.
- Cleans windows, windowsills, window treatments, walls, and furniture.
- Performs special cleaning of rooms, disinfects walls, floors, and furnishings.
- Cleans nursing stations, halls, lobbies, treatment rooms, recreation areas, lounges, and dining areas.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred in a health care setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames.
