About the position

The Environmental Services Aide performs general cleaning and laundry operations in accordance with standard procedures set forth by the Department of Environmental Services. The aide may also be assigned to collection and distribution tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and laundry operations.
• Follow standard procedures set by the Department of Environmental Services.
• Assist with collection and distribution tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Eighth grade education or equivalent.
• Experience with battery-powered, large area vacuums, carpet cleaning, liquid extraction, and wet/dry systems preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language required.
• Three months on-the-job training is necessary.
