About the position
The Environmental Operations Manager at PM Environmental, a Pinchin Company, is responsible for overseeing the supervision of employees and managing the fiscal and budgetary aspects of the assigned team or office. This role ensures that business plans align with regional and corporate strategies, while also focusing on health and safety, quality procedures, and effective resource management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee office financial performance, ensuring timely budget preparation and meeting profit and utilization targets.
- Directly supervise assigned staff, ensuring engagement through performance management, training, and career development.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability around health and safety and quality procedures.
- Coordinate office resources including employee allocation, equipment control, and vacation scheduling.
- Develop and execute annual business plans for the assigned business unit, maintaining industry presence and client relationships.
- Lead business development strategies in accordance with the annual business plan.
- Collaborate with other Operations Managers on business development and management initiatives.
- Perform project management and client management duties as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the Environmental industry.
- 5-7 years of experience leading environmental professionals, preferably with knowledge of Michigan's EGLE Part 201 and Part 213 regulations.
