About the position

Danfoss in Shawnee, Oklahoma is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Analyst to join our growing team. This position will focuses on accurate EHS metrics reporting, implementing environmental improvements, and fostering a positive safety and environmental culture for all team members.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and tracking appropriate leading and lagging indicators to monitor performance relative to set targets and objectives.
  • Utilizing established EHS data management processes to oversee incident reports, environmental metrics, risk assessments, action items, and other relevant information.
  • Managing and guiding the site in achieving EHS targets and objectives, supporting the development, maintenance, and attainment of goals aligned with corporate and business unit EHS strategic initiatives.
  • Leading risk assessments at the site to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects, working collaboratively with leadership to establish data-driven targets based on identified risks.
  • Manage Ergonomics program including performing equipment adjustments, communicating with all levels of employees and executives, conducting follow ups and documentation.
  • Facilitating EHS initiatives via effective teams and committees to meet EHS targets and organizational standards.
  • Collaborating with plant leadership and facilities teams to ensure all key EHS operational controls are implemented, maintained through preventive maintenance programs, and promptly addressed.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, and cost reduction initiatives, demonstrating progress toward process and safety goals aligned with business objectives.
  • Promoting a culture of risk prevention, conducting risk assessments, and integrating safety processes throughout the site.
  • Driving, support and maintenance of all third-party certifications, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IAFTF.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial, Health, Science, Business, or Environmental Science, or Management.
  • Highly skillful to work in diverse environment at individual level team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently including large and complex programs operational projects.
  • Ability to be productive and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • +5 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety.
  • Prior experience and education with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management.
  • +2 years of experience as EHS in a fast past manufacture environment.

Nice-to-haves
