About the position

The Environmental Consultant will join an upstream oil and gas client in Greeley, CO, focusing on supporting the remediation and spill teams. The role involves project management, quality control and assurance for form submissions, and facilitating communication between various teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track progress for spills and remediation projects.
• Oversee the management of various environmental contractors and vendors.
• Ensure that permits have been approved and safety requirements are met in the field.
• Conduct quality checks on forms 27 and 19 to ensure compliance with state requirements and client standards.
• Analyze data from forms that have been denied or received negative feedback to identify patterns and solutions.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance form quality and efficiency.
• Handle communication and relationship building between internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
• Support HSE Advisors, remediation, and spill teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Earth Science, Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Studies.
• Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in an environmental engineering, geology, environmental, or similar HSE role.
• Knowledge of ECMC and CDPHE regulations and reporting requirements, specifically related to Forms 27 and 19.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Strong analytical skills with Power BI experience.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry.
