About the position

Applied Training Solutions, LLC (ATS) is developing a team of Subject Matter Experts (SME) to conduct Higher Headquarters Assessments for US Army Installations on behalf of US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM). The team will conduct assessments of all components of the installation's Protection programs using the DoD Benchmarks, plus applicable Army, Combatant Command (COCOM), Service Component Command, and IMCOM applicable requirements. As a part of that effort, the Environmental Analyst will identify those locations where hazardous materials or toxic substances are present on installations or other facilities, or where their proximity to installations or other facilities may present a hazard to missions, people or assets. They will also identify, quantify and prioritize those hazards and make course of action recommendations to the government on remediation, mitigation, and information sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of installation's Protection programs using DoD Benchmarks.
  • Identify locations with hazardous materials or toxic substances.
  • Assess proximity of hazardous materials to installations and facilities.
  • Quantify and prioritize hazards.
  • Make recommendations for remediation, mitigation, and information sharing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Environmental Liabilities, Environmental Compliance, and Environmental Restoration.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or degree in Project Management.
