About the position
We are seeking a Press Operator to become an integral part of our team! This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement. The position offers a good deal of variety in your day to day responsibilities. There is a predictable work schedule, Monday - Thursday with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays (max would be two weeks per month). There are abundant opportunities for voluntary overtime on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As a small family owned company, you will have the chance to get to know everyone at the organization and make a meaningful difference towards our success!
Responsibilities
- Operate punch and draw presses
- Inspect and package parts
- Run jobs as outlined in job instruction sheet or routing
- Be willing to be trained on setting up mechanical and hydraulic presses
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instruction from supervisor or lead person
- Qualifications are based upon skill, knowledge, ability and previous experience or closely-related or identical work
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
