About the position

AstroNova is hiring for 2nd & 3rd Shift Entry Level Machine Operators. The base schedules are 3PM-11PM or 11PM-7AM Monday through Friday. The RotoFlexo Press Operator / Machine Operator is to set up, operate, and maintain press and accessories for printing, punching, perforating, rewinding, and other processes in the conversion of thermal paper or label and tag stock from raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain label converting presses
• Maintain and operate accessories for printing, perforating, rewinding and other processes in the conversion of labels from raw materials
• Assist with slitting, rewinding and packaging finished goods as needed
• Check quality, monitor equipment, and maintain a clean work area; perform preventative maintenance (5S)
• Ensure all product is manufactured in accordance with the correct specifications and production schedules

• Reading for information - Understanding written sentences and ability to extract relevant information from work related documents.
• Coordination & Time management - As part of a team, you'll be interacting with other Machine Operators, Quality Assurance Inspectors, Plant leaders and more to accomplish day-to-day work objectives.
