About the position

As an entry-level lube technician at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our guests on the road by providing exceptional customer service and performing essential preventative maintenance services for vehicles. This position offers a comprehensive training program that equips you with the skills needed to perform various tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery testing, and safety inspections, all while working collaboratively in a fun and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance services for vehicles including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
• Provide top-tier customer service to guests.
• Conduct an 18-point safety check on vehicles.
• Test and replace batteries, inspect and replace lights and wipers.
• Work as part of a team to deliver quick and trusted services.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Eagerness to learn and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Mobility to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above head.
• Fluency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
