About the position

The Enterprise Supply Chain Data Analyst at Mass General Brigham plays a crucial role in managing and analyzing the organization's substantial product spend, exceeding $800 million. Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain Data Integrity, this position focuses on aligning supply chain data analytics with the strategic goals of the department. The analyst will leverage data to educate stakeholders, communicate key metrics, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring data integrity across various hospital datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, manipulate, and analyze system-wide supply chain data to educate stakeholders on business impacts and make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Physicians, Information Systems, Finance, Central Sterile Processing & Supply, Nursing, Clinical Engineering, and other stakeholders to execute initiatives.
  • Serve as the data lead for multidisciplinary workgroups focused on product/case information across the enterprise.
  • Communicate between clinical teams and supply chain to develop strategies for standardizing processes and identifying savings opportunities.
  • Ensure robust and accurate analyses in accordance with project deadlines and in the correct format.
  • Continuously monitor benchmarks to maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline.
  • Oversee the tracking and measurement of post-implementation savings and ensure budgets are adjusted according to realized savings.
  • Report on savings projects identified by the multifunctional team and track achieved savings.
  • Suggest necessary changes to enhance operational efficiency within areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinate with key departments to uphold and enhance system integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on perioperative data in a hospital setting required; 3+ years preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software required (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
  • Experience in Healthcare Supply Chain required.
  • Strong understanding of perioperative processes and healthcare data standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
