About the position

The Enterprise & Fraud Risk Management (Student Trainee) position at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is designed for students seeking practical experience in risk management. The intern will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer to support various initiatives related to Enterprise Risk Management and Fraud Risk Management. This role involves research, training development, and content creation, providing a comprehensive introduction to the field of risk management within a federal agency.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify enterprise and fraud risk management topics to support FCC's initiatives.
  • Support the development and release of risk management training, including antifraud training.
  • Develop short explainer videos by creating scripts and storyboards based on self-directed research.
  • Complete specific projects such as the development of infographics, based on time availability.

Requirements

  • Must be a Bachelor's degree seeking student with one to two years of study completed.
  • Enrolled in an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Maintain at least half-time enrollment status as defined by the school.
  • Must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • U.S. Citizen or meet specific criteria for non-citizens.
