About the position

The Enrollment Specialist at Nashua Community College is responsible for recruiting and enrolling prospective students through various marketing, outreach, and promotional activities. This part-time position supports the College's enrollment goals and involves engaging with the community, providing information about student services, and processing applications.

Responsibilities

• Participates in recruitment events to attract students and educate the public about the College's offerings.
• Provides information to prospective students and community members to support enrollment goals.
• Generates new markets and develops relationships with school guidance counselors and community organizations.
• Responds to inquiries from potential and current applicants in person, via phone, or electronically.
• Maintains knowledge of student and academic programs, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Develops and maintains information files on prospective and current students and admissions data.
• Processes student applications and registers students as necessary.
• Performs administrative tasks such as generating letters and maintaining student files.
• Utilizes software and databases for recruitment and enrollment activities.
• Assists in developing admissions policies and procedures to improve service and efficiency.
• Maintains admissions and enrollment processes as assigned by the Vice President.
• Collaborates with other offices integral to the admissions process.
• Complies with all relevant rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in business administration, management, education, student services, or related field.
• Three years of experience in student services, admissions, or a related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
