Review and process on customer accounts regarding their student loans. Responsible for researching information related to these activities. To be considered for this role, you must reside within 60 miles of either Lincoln, NE, Madison, WI or Brownsville, TX. This is a work from home position. Pay for this role: $16.50/hour

Requirements

  • Must reside within 60 miles of either Lincoln, NE, Madison, WI or Brownsville, TX.
  • Employment and continued employment are contingent having obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance.
  • Must reside in the United States and be a United States citizen.
  • This process involves collecting and providing 7 years of previous work experience, previous addresses, and contact information of people that can verify this information.
  • Must not be delinquent or in default with any federal debt.
  • Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 2 years customer service experience and/or general work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) and Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.
  • Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Ensure integrity of data and information.
  • Validate and update information in the Loan Servicing systems.
  • Review prior lender service and payment histories.
  • Staying updated on company and department communication, emails and procedures.
  • Attending team meetings and required trainings.
  • Completing corporate trainings and quarterly meeting with leadership.
  • Working your regularly scheduled work week. (Unless using ETO/Floating Holiday, FMLA or make up time if approved)
  • Working required overtime as needed.
