About The Position

This position involves installing, maintaining, performing preventative maintenance on, and recommending the replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment. The role includes calibrating all controls, gauges, and meters, identifying and operating shut-off valves, and managing parts and supplies inventory. The Engineering Supervisor will also inspect tools, equipment, or machines, use computers for work-related information, operate a power lift, and complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests. Additionally, the role requires inspecting fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems, and assisting in the development of disaster response protocols. Responding to and attending to guest repair requests is also a key part of the role. The position also assists management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. It requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing safety training and certifications. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, ensuring confidentiality, and welcoming guests according to company standards are also expected. The role involves anticipating and addressing guest service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns. Ensuring quality expectations and standards are met, and identifying opportunities for organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings are also key responsibilities. The role requires visual inspection of tools, equipment, or machines, reaching overhead and below the knees, and performing movements such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. It involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight. The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move up and down stairs or service ramps is necessary. Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, perform preventative maintenance on, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment.
  • Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, etc.
  • Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.
  • Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and purchase orders log.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers.
  • Operate power lift.
  • Complete the life safety checklist, including the fire-pump run test and generator run test.
  • Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
  • Assist in development of disaster response protocols.
  • Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
