About the position
The Engineering Program Manager will oversee the development and launch of new Chemical and Life Sciences products in the Medical Device industry. This role requires a strong background in project management, process improvement, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while adhering to strict regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the launch of new Chemical and Life Sciences products from concept to market.
- Utilize process improvement methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Lead Engineering/Technical projects to meet defined objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and stakeholder engagement.
- Analyze complex data to identify root causes and develop solutions.
- Set high performance standards and hold team members accountable for results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or technology-related field is required.
- Experience in the Medical Device industry is required.
- Proven experience in project management and process improvement.
- Knowledge of design controls within Medical Device Regulations (21CFR820, ISO 13485).
- Strong business acumen with experience in ROI evaluation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's Degree or PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience with Lean Business Systems tools and processes.
