About The Position

The Engineering Manager - Hydrogen will lead and manage multiple R&D projects concurrently, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards. This role involves defining and communicating the technical vision, strategy, and goals for the R&D team, aligning them with the company’s overall objectives. The manager will also recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and success. Responsibilities include overseeing testing and validation processes, utilizing data analysis for decision-making, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying abreast of industry trends to drive innovation, managing resource allocation and budgeting, and identifying potential risks with mitigation plans. Requirements

  • Engineering degree in electrochemistry or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in leading research and development projects in the Hydrogen environment.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in system testing, validation, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, while serving as a sparring partner to internal/external stakeholders.
