Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Aide to become a member of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Team.

Responsibilities

  • Generate engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, schedules, and schematics
  • Attend daily and weekly team meetings to discuss technical, schedule and operations issues, etc.
  • Develop weekly status chart package and reporting to programs/management, review technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings
  • Develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered
  • Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access
  • Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred Candidates will have an Associate's degree in a STEM related field.
  • Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to management and customers.
  • Able to work independently within a team and handle multiple priorities and internal customers.
  • Ability to tackle detailed technical assignments often requiring learning or developing planning and integration skills.
  • Proficiency in project planning and product life cycle management.
  • Experience performing design assessments and developing data driven solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, scrum master and use of Jira boards.
  • Strong skills in use of Python, C/C++, IDL, CREO, and/or Matlab.
  • Laboratory and/or hardware integration and handling skills.
  • Knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) for procurement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment
  • Database entry experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
