Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Aide to become a member of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Team.
Responsibilities
- Generate engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, schedules, and schematics
- Attend daily and weekly team meetings to discuss technical, schedule and operations issues, etc.
- Develop weekly status chart package and reporting to programs/management, review technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings
- Develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews
Requirements
- Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered
- Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access
- Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
Nice-to-haves
- Preferred Candidates will have an Associate's degree in a STEM related field.
- Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to management and customers.
- Able to work independently within a team and handle multiple priorities and internal customers.
- Ability to tackle detailed technical assignments often requiring learning or developing planning and integration skills.
- Proficiency in project planning and product life cycle management.
- Experience performing design assessments and developing data driven solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, scrum master and use of Jira boards.
- Strong skills in use of Python, C/C++, IDL, CREO, and/or Matlab.
- Laboratory and/or hardware integration and handling skills.
- Knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) for procurement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment
- Database entry experience
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
