About The Position

The Engineer Lead is responsible for working as a Development Lead in delivery of end-to-end application, system development and maintenance of complex multi technology platforms within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department while utilizing various customer technology platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field of study.
  • Five (5) years of Information Technology (IT) or related experience.
  • Five (5) years of required Information Technology (IT) or related experience must include: end to end application development and maintenance; design and development for complex multi technology platforms in Agile framework; Java; Angular; Spring; Linux; Database Technologies: Mongo DB, Oracle, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings.
  • Understand the tradeoffs between technical, analytical and product needs of the technical solutions.
  • Own the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary.
  • Provide technical advice and weigh in on technical decisions that impact cross functional teams.
  • Maintain technical development environment.
  • Research and may propose new technologies.
  • Develop and own list of final enhancements.
  • Assesses current status and support data information planning.
  • Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
  • Perform end to end application development and maintenance.
  • Coordinate on-call support and ensure effective monitoring of system.
  • Investigate issues or defects, determine root cause of problem, formulate corrective action recommendations, and implement plan of action.
  • Own technical testing to ensure unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan.
  • Identify and propose strategies around technical problems affecting team, communicate standards and get buy-in on solutions.
  • Facilitate group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.
  • Utilize Health Care industry experience, Agile methodology, and execution process.
  • Mentor the Development team and assist with solving complex technical challenges.
  • Support vendor evaluation.
