In this role, you will be instrumental in integrating energy conservation, resiliency, and sustainability solutions with our connected buildings operating platform, ultimately delivering on customer aspirations. As the Energy Services Sales Leader, you will serve as the strategic driver for our business, establishing a successful sales strategy supported by processes that consistently exceed growth targets. You will collaborate with the leadership team to transform our business, expand our presence in the public market, and take ownership of sales results for energy performance and transition solutions. Your efforts will set new standards in delivering improved sustainability, resiliency, and financial outcomes to a diverse range of customers in the Government sector. Your team of trusted advisors will assist customers in narrating their journey towards reducing operating expenses, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions, while simultaneously enhancing comfort, productivity, efficiency, and safety in their work environments. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures to capture new competitive business effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating all aspects of key strategic planning data to determine geographical territories, market segmentation, and technological solutions to define the optimal Regional growth plan.
  • Developing opportunity pursuit plans inclusive of qualification, competitive threat assessment, and differentiation strategy.
  • Supporting account plan development inclusive of key stakeholder identification, value proposition definition, and network expansion strategy.
  • Modeling sales team capacity, periodic orders forecasting, sales training, and development.
  • Developing, analyzing, and presenting business cases to Senior Leadership to secure investment of sales support resources into sales pursuits.
  • Establishing a sense of Team amongst Regional sellers focused on achieving a common sales goal, while fostering a culture of continuous professional development and personal accomplishment.
  • Flexing to work within a matrixed organization in the successful capture of new competitive business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of management experience in energy services, building technologies, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years direct solution sales experience to government sector end-users
  • Valid driver's license
